Moneys Paid to Individuals and Business from Various State and Federal Sources for losses from the Flash Flood Disaster in Scioto County:

  • Federal Emergency Management Agency Housing Grant Program-
              130 Individuals Assisted with $197,808

  • Small Business Administration Low Interest Loan Program-
              22 Individuals or Businesses Assisted with $148,200

  • State Individual and Family Grant Program-
              20 Individuals or Families Assisted with $37,033


Scioto County Emergency Management and the Scioto County Emergency Planning Committee were able to secure and generate grant funds and reimbursements to local government and private entities in Scioto County new moneys totaling $977,236 that would not otherwise have been realized and regenerated in the county in the past State and Federal Years. EMA/LEPC meant nearly $1 million dollars to the county in the last year.
