    The 4th District Court of Appeals has four Appellate Judges serving fourteen southeastern Ohio counties including: Adams, Athens, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton and Washington.

    The court primarily handles appeals from any inferior courts in the fourteen county district and has authority to hear some original actions. gavel
