Tatman-Coe Bridge Last Project To Be
Completed After the Flood of 1997

Tatman-Coe Bridge has been closed to traffic for over a year. It washed out completely from the flood of March 1997. This bridge was built in 1940. It was an old Pratt Truss Bridge with a timber deck and stone abutments being
13' wide and 125' long.

If we had not received funds from Ohio Emergency Management Agency (OEMA), I do not know when we could have reconstructed this bridge.

I am very thankful to my staff for staying on top of this project by providing information to OEMA so we could receive federal money to replace this bridge.

The project to rebuild the bridge was awarded to Ohio Bridge Corporation. They installed a new Modified Warren Truss all galvanized 20' wide by 134' long and a warranty of thirty-five (35) years for a cost of $360,688.00.
