"Portsmouth 1903" This mural represents a view of Portsmouth in 1903 (Portsmouth's 100th anniversary) as seen from the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. The mural was painted from a composite of four photographs taken from the Carl Ackerman historical photo collection. No floodwall was present at that time and many landmark buildings are easily recognized. This mural measures 20 x 160 feet and is the longest in the project. Completed in 1993.
